Assemble at the Anacostia Metro Station at 9:30 am  and start the Parade on MLK and Howard Rd. down to MLK . Continue until we reach W Street where we make a right and disband at the church.

Reminiscent of the very first African Liberation Day (ALD) celebration in Washington D.C, where thousands of Africans marched in support of a the African Liberation struggles in the U.S. and beyond,  we will use this ALD to renew the old tradition.  We are calling on African individuals and organizations to sign up to participate in this 45 year anniversary event and parade by registering on our website.
